What effect does classical music have on the epilepsy treatment? Epileptologists from around the world gathered in Brno
GUARANT International organized the 4th annual Congress of Epilepsy, Brain & Mind from May 2 to 5, 2018. This year, 180 experts participated in the event.
The four-day program covered the various aspects of epileptology and neuropsychiatry. Specialists from around the world focused on topics such as mind mapping, antiepileptic effects of art (including classical music, literature and philosophy), and the influence of mood on perception of memory and quality of life of epileptics.Epilepsy is one of the most common cerebral diseases and is considered to be the most common child chronic brain disease. Consequently, the Congress was not only focused on the examining the disease and its causes, but also on the pitfalls and potential of social media for epileptologists.
The Congress took place at Hotel International Brno and was organized under the International League against Epilepsy and the Czech League against Epilepsy and supported by the CEITEC.
